TTT: Top Ten Books That I am Thankful For

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. This feature was created because we are particularly fond of lists here at The Broke and the Bookish. We’d love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

Each week we will post a new Top Ten list that one of our bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish will answer. Everyone is welcome to join. This weeks TTT is a little Thanksgiving post about the Top Ten Books I Am Thankful For. So as you may know, I am Canadian, so this post is actually coming late for our Thanksgiving, but it is American Thanksgiving so here we go!

A lot of these novels are ones that I read as a child, that helped feed my love of books, or that had wonderful messages behind them that I feel everyone needs to read. One feeds my love of travel while another got me absolutely hooked on my favourite author.

I’ve just recently discovered Korman’s books and have added several of them to my TBR. I am hoping to get to some of them in 2017. Great list. I loved the Trumpet of the Swan as well.

Oh I definitely still remember those books I read as a child/teen that instilled a love for reading. I always think it’s funny that the books that stuck with me aren’t necessarily the “best” ones but they’re the ones I read at the right time to really make an impact.
